Equality rights and Legal rights

All countries in the world have equally rights and legal rights for protect the entire person, this rights have been establish in order to promote respect among persons and to maintain the dignity of them. With these rights we can analyze some values that are promoted in this country. We can find these values respect, prudence, honesty, equality, justice, solidarity, liberty, love, and others. I thought these are the most important values that are used by Canadian people.

Equality rights:

Every individual is equal before and under the law and has the right to the equal protection and equal benefit of the law without discrimination and, in particular, without discrimination based on race, national or ethnic origin, color, religion, sex, age or mental or physical disability.

(Subsection) does not preclude any law, program or activity that has as its object the amelioration of conditions of disadvantaged individuals or groups including those that are disadvantaged because of race, national or ethnic origin, color, religion, sex, age or mental or physical disability.

Legal rights:

·Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of the person and the right not to be deprived thereof except in accordance with the principles of fundamental justice.

· Everyone has the right to be secure against unreasonable search or seizure.

·Everyone has the right not to be arbitrarily detained or imprisoned.

·Everyone has the right on arrest or detention

·Any person charged with an offence has the right.

·Everyone has the right not to be subjected to any cruel and unusual treatment or punishment.

· A witness who testifies in any proceedings has the right not to have any incriminating evidence so given used to incriminate that witness in any other proceedings, except in a prosecution for perjury or for the giving of contradictory evidence.

· A party or witness in any proceeding who does not understand or speak the language in which the proceedings are conducted or who is deaf has the right to the assistance of an interpreter.

The Seven deadly sins

The seven deadly sins are used in the Roman Catholic Church to guide people toward good and avoid evil. In the Catholic religion divided the sins in “venial” and “mortal”. The venial sins are less severs than mortal sins. The seven deadly sins have been great inspiration in several disciplines like literature, arts, music, film… For example Dante’s “Divine Comedy”

The “mortal” seven deadly sins are: pride, envy, gluttony, lust, anger, greed and sloth. Pride is inordinate self-esteem; Envy is when someone has spite and resentment at seeing the success of another; gluttony is when someone has excess with food; lust is an excess pleasure; Anger is a wish of revenge; Greed is when someone has a insatiable desire for wealth, and Sloth when someone has apathy for practice virtue. When someone commits mortal sins, those souls are punished and they could not take any sacrament, but to get forgiven the sins you have to confess and do penitent, to return the grace of God.

In my opinion the seven deadly sins are made for help people to do good acts. These sins teach people what is wrong and what is correct, but at the end we have the freedom for choose. Sometimes people choose de wrong way, later they feel terrible and they could not do something for amend.

Values in preparing for a sport competition.

Canada's official national sports are ice hockey and lacrosse. Hockey is a national pastime and the most popular spectator sport in the country. When is going to be a hockey game, the players get in a reunion before the game an they do concentration exercise and the coach tell to the all team a important sentence, to make influence in the behavior before enter to a game. Do you think these could help players to concentration in a game a win it?

Some people think that these might help players to play with more enthusiasm and energy. When a coach gets in a reunion previously to the game, he talks with all the team because he want to persuade and convince people that they are the best and they have to play in a ethic way.

Other persons think that these could help, but in short all depends in de security and reliable that the player have in their abilities. I think that emotional state is very important and well fitness. And the hokey team must have a clear motto that spread values an ethics.

In conclusion, values and ethics are so important in all sports teams, also is so important that all teams have a good leader a these leader must create an environment of companionship, respect and tolerance, I think that these are so important values that all players must use all the time.

Canada has 33 persons that committed a series of crimes that catalogue them as the famous criminals, this persons has committed different crimes like terrorism, murderer, bank robber, infanticide, rapist and others. This person committee this crimes because they have mental problems, they suffer a lot in their childhood, to take revenge of someone or for begin reach. These famous criminals have a lot of stories ones are so terrible and others are like in action movies.

One of the stories is about a criminal of a bank robber his name was Boyd Edwin Alonzo, and he was a criminal and leader of the Boyd Gang. All begins after Edwin quitted his job, he was driving on the streetcar and, he was pondering how to make a living, when he read a newspaper article about an autistic kid robbing a bank with no gun and almost getting away so the next day, he took a German Luger pistol he had taken from a dead German soldier in France on the Second World War, and put on a disguise and robbed a bank. Edwin joined up with another robber and carried out several other bold bank robberies. He had a reputation for jumping over counters, moving quickly, and carrying a gun. Edwin was arrested and he has a seven-year sentence, he was released in 1966. He went to British Columbia. Two books have been written on the Boyd Gang, and one was made into a successful movie. In 1998 Eddie was featured in a Candian Broad casting Corporation Life and Times documentary, where he admitted that he had committed many more robberies than he had been charged with.On May 17, 2002, Edwin Alonzo Boyd died at age 88.

With this controversial story, I analyze that humans bins sometimes can done terrible things and break the law. Criminals didn´t thing in the pain that they could caused on persons life, they only thing in they own convenience and benefit.

Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS)

Canada has a security intelligent service and is responsible for collecting, monitoring, and analyzing intelligence on threats to Canada's national security, and conducting operations, covert and overt, within Canada. The name of this security agency is Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) is the primary intelligence agency of the Canadian Government.

CSIS was created on June 21 in by an Act of Parliament passed as a consequence of the MacDonald Commission. The main thrust of the Macdonald Report was that security intelligence work should be separated from policing, and that the activities of a new agency, the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, should be subject to both judicial approval for warrants, as well as general oversight review by a new body, the Security Intelligence Review Committee, as well as the office of the Inspector General. Its de facto existence began on July 16 under the direction of Thomas D'Arcy Finn. Before this, Canadian intelligence had been under the jurisdiction of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Security Service.

Values and beliefs, how different or similar are they?

In all cultures of the world there are values and beliefs that people commonly practice, but sometimes people don’t distingue, the differences and similarities between values and beliefs. In order understand better the differences and a similarity that values and beliefs have, first is important to know the meaning of them, and then is going to be easier to analyze the principal differences and similarities of them.

When we are going to analyze something the first pass is to search information, in this case, I stared looking the meaning of a value and belief. A value is general criteria, standards, or guiding principles that people use to determine which types of behaviors, events, situations and outcomes are desirable or undesirable; and a belief is to hold or thought an opinion based upon evidence or an experience admittedly not assumed to be common among all people. With these meanings we can analyzed a lot of differences and similarities between values and beliefs.

The most important differences that I can analyzed is that values helped people to do the right things, all daylong people develop different activities like studying, working, playing games, making sports and others. When they add values to perform these activities they must be shore that they are doing the correct things in a better way, and they helped to create coexistence between people. In contras a beliefs are feelings that we feel for something or for someone, for belief is so important to trust and be a secure person. People of different culture have so many beliefs like spiritual, politics, on a person, god, and others. The similarities that I can find are that beliefs and values are intangible and they serve people to guide people in their life.

In my opinion beliefs a values are so different but using the two of them we can get a happy life and a good coexistence with the people of our environment. When a society don have any values or beliefs, it present serious problems like corruption, drugs addict, violence, war…. I thing that all countries in the world must fight in order to make aware people of the importance of use values daily and have correct beliefs.

The conference about Hungary was so interesting and we could met a rich culture that has so many important things. I think these is a interesting country for visit.
